Bayonne, New Jersey- May 8th can’t come soon enough. Change is in the air in what many are calling Ward G, or “Greenville South”.Mayor Jimmy Davis who was involved in a “Sexting Scandal” is fighting for the Political life of Joe Demarco. Demarco will be the one to blame when Davis loses his reelection bid.After the Mayoral debate, Davis staffers should seriously consider start packing their bags for destinations West or toward Jersey Shore.It was clear why Davis did not want to debate. Davis had neither the ability nor the knowledge on how to answer questions, or even what the topic was. This was also clear during the Jersey Journal Interview with Mayor Joe.Davis didn’t know about the BCB Tent, rents that weren’t paid. What Davis was not telling the voters was that his good friend that owns the Vic Tavern was the GC (general contractor) on the project and it is rumored the Mayor's friend also collected parking revenues on event days. Revenues that were never accounted for and taxes never paid to the city for the parking concession.Insiders of the Davis Campaign best describe the atmosphere as “chaos.” Several early supporters of the Davis ticket have vacated the office, including an old man “Joe” and others who will not support Davis Ticket on election day. Two Davis insiders spoke of the arrogance of Joe Demarco and condescending Nicholas Chiaravalotti who they stated sneaks in through the back door of the HQ.Further proof of the arrogance and condescension of Demarco and Chiaravalotti is the fact former Councilman and Davis’ Chief of Staff Ray Greaves allegedly has quit his paid City Hall post because of these two.Ray Greaves is no longer the Mayor’s Chief of Staff, but allegedly he was placed on a leave of absence, instead of having to announce the resignation. Ray reads the tea leaves, that was the sentiments of a Joe DeMarco buddy.Insiders at the O’Donnell campaign describe it as orderly chaos as there are workers and citizens running in and out at all times of the day and night. Meetings are held on the ground floor open area. Key fence jumper Dotty Ruskowski strolled into the HQ this week looking for a new home, knowing Davis Team is cooked.The Council Races are likewise heating up with Tommy Cotter staying awake long enough to fight off his publication of the “booking photo” from his youthful offender status. Sharma Montgomery seems to be energized and made strict promises for the First Ward not to give her family jobs, reductions in taxes and to stay awake at all City events and meetings. Second Ward seems to be a Taxpayers edict with Sal Gullave getting hammered for his mosque money grab, the overdevelopment, taking illegal health benefits, and calling the Eastside a Shithole. Kevin Kuhl is working every day, not taking any single vote for granted. The Kuhl Family has been on the scene for over 7 decades on the Eastside. Third Ward is going to be a runoff. Incumbent Gary LaPelusa who got beat in 2010 by Ray Greaves and was reelected in 2014 got caught taking health benefits illegally from the City, which was an issue when Tony Chiappone was Assemblyman. LaPelusa’s problems get thicker when he was caught at fundraisers with Luccarelli developer as well as the Muslims who extorted the City and Mayor Davis for $400,000.00. The pick here seems to be Matt Klimansky of the O’Donnell Team; a US Army Veteran, Eagle Scout, and Boy Scout Troop Leader. Klimansky seems to have a pulse of the Third from mentoring young men, to cleaning up the graffiti, trash, and empty lots of the Third Ward. Mark Urban, current chair of the Zoning Board has little support but serves the Community and genuinely is a nice, caring person.Looks like the Davis era is approaching its final days, who woulda thunk it 30 days ago. By the way, Jimmy - Fulop & Stack are doing a remake of the Tupac song "I ain’t Mad Cha".
