There comes a time when the professors of advocacy and activism must be questioned, especially when they are bound by titles attained through elected politics.
Elected officials are more concerned with photo ops, instead of gathering input to address the societal, economic and educational issues affecting their constituents.
It's time for progressivism to arise amongst the selfie brand-conscious elected officials. With an emphasis on a political agenda that actually includes input from the people of our communities.
Sorry, bringing residents together for the sole purpose of working on their individual vision boards is nice. But, how about bringing them together to collaborate on a Visionary Political Agenda for our Communities?
We don't need life coaches in elected office, we need competent legislators; those who understand their duties are to create, legislate, educate, and empower with policies
